MCCF Launches Community Engagement Grants - ASI is First Recipient
With a vision to be a proactive leader facilitating strategic philanthropy and inspiring creative collaboration in the community, Montgomery County Community Foundation is taking a slightly different approach to granting in 2012. To encourage more complete board and staff involvement in the granting process, $27,000 has been earmarked for Community Engagement Grants.
Agriculture will be the focus of museum exhibit
The history of agriculture in Montgomery County and the state of agriculture today will be the focus of an exhibit opening March 1 at the Carnegie Museum of Montgomery County.
Splash for babies in March
Studies show that one in eight Americans is affected by premature birth. In an effort to raise funds and awareness for the March of Dimes a family-fun swimming event, Splash for Babies, is scheduled for March 17 from 2-5 p.m. at the Crawfordsville Aquatic Center.

Tipmont allocates $20,990 in grants
LINDEN - Tipmont REMC's EnviroWatts program recently allocated $20,990 in grants, giving $10,000 to the Boiler Green Initiative at Purdue University, $5,990 to Crawfordsville High School and $5,000 to NICHES Land Trust Inc.
