What was the most important piece of legislation that will affect Montgomery County and you? How did your representatives vote on tax issues, local government reform, ethics reform and funding for schools? If you're a business owner, will your taxes go up and can you look forward to any new regulations? Will you have to worry about how you sing the National Anthem? If you want to know the answers to these questions and others, you need to attend the third in this year's series of Legislative Breakfasts this coming Saturday.

U.S. Sen. Dick Lugar (R-Indiana) made a campaign stop in Crawfordsville Wednesday afternoon.

The Right Track banquet hall, located in the remodeled train station on North Green street, was filled nearly to capacity with people who wanted to see their senator and listen to what he had to say.

If the Grinch stole Christmas in Dr. Seuss's famous children's book, it looks like he is coming back for a second helping in 2012.

  • For less than the price of a cup of coffee, you can have complete access to complete Montgomery County news, weather and sports 24 hours, seven days a week for an entire month!

A one-month subscription is just 99 cents! Even better, a one-year subscription is only $10!

That's less than 3 cents per day!

Whether you want access for a day, a week, a month or a year, the cost is reminiscent of the days when newspapers used to cost a nickel! Actually, at our rates, a nickel a day would be sort of expensive!
