Get ready to moan, Timmons' rhymes will make you groan

'Twas the night before Christmas and all of the lore,
The steel was a shimmering out at Nucor
New cars were waiting at Etter and York
And don't forget Horner's or you'll be a dork.
Trucks awaited a sales blitz-a-roga
At Kenny Vice Ford down in Ladoga
The nurses were working so hard at St. E.
While surgeons practiced their work on a knee.
Salt and road debris was stuck on some cars
So Gould and Neal buffed 'em like stars
Sales were outstanding at shops like Big R
And Creek's and Sears had 'em coming from afar.
From those who were hungry there was plenty of din,
So let's go to Little Mexico to Creekside or Pizza of Inn.
Later that night, we looked in the sky
And there was the fat man all bundled and spry
On Morgan, on Glass on Paint not stodgy
On Beltone, AmeriGas and C'ville Audiology.
On Tropical Tan, Superior Auto and MainSource
Let's hear it for Ivy Tech, Lane House and Fountain Trust of course
We can't forget Linda at Carpenter Realty and wait there's more
Workforce, Houston Homes, ReMax and Mom & Pop's Party Store.
And Coal Creek winery going toward W-Town,
Edward's, Ace, Haybush on down.
There's Verizon and Tanning Hut and Wright Implement too
We'd cry if we missed Allen's and Jackson Hewitt's boo hoo.
It's nice to shop here and don't you forget
That The Paper is true local it's all you should get.
As the fat man rode off I heard him exclaim
Merry Christmas Montgomery County, you're the best I can name!
