I was very nervous about joining a group and working out. I was so nervous I was having a little anxiety. Well maybe a lot of anxiety to be honest. I toughed it out and walked away from our first group workout feeling great!!! It was tough don't get me wrong but I had a feeling of accomplishment and I was excited for meeting new friends!
Our second day of our group workout was even better! I was so sore walking into that workout which was a good thing because I knew I had accomplished something with the previous workout.
Here we are week 5 and I have made so much progress! I've lost 15 pounds and I can run! I never thought I could run but I am! I am so thankful for this opportunity and it is without a doubt a life changing experience for me! I am so excited to see what the next month holds for me!
Now for the fundraising part. Fundraising hasn't been easy. I've had a little experience with fundraising since both of my boys are in scouts and really this isn't much different. It's really hard to get people to donate but I hope that in the end I'll be able to pull it together. It's a great cause. Our community our kids!
