February might be chilly, but you can warm up with great musical talent for a great cause. The night of Feb. 23 will be in support of North Montgomery High School student Sam Jackman and his entire family. Choir members and musicians are coming together at North Montgomery High School for a memorable auditory treat to help raise funds for the family.
The event is the brainchild of North Montgomery High School choir members Andrew Samulsen and Oliver Valle. Many other student leaders stepped up and followed through to make the event a reality. Invitations have also been sent to choirs at Crawfordsville and Southmont to join in on the event.
There is a suggested donation of $2 per person, but all are welcome to attend the family friendly event. There will be baked goods for sale and the student-run Charger Café has committed to leading these sales to add funds to the collection.
Things kick off at 7 p.m. Feb. 23. If you’re interested in donation funds or auditioning to perform, contact aquintero@nm.k12.in.us.
