The best Career and Technical Education students from Crawfordsville, North Montgomery, Southmont and Western Boone were honored Wednesday night at North. Thirty-one awards were handed out for excellence, commitment and improvement to go along with 36 inductions into the West Central Indiana Technical Honor Society (WCITHS).
“Career and Technical Education programs provide opportunities for students to develop leadership, employability and technical skills for future careers,” said Pamela Rager, CTE Director. “These students have worked hard and met the qualifications required for selections to our Technical Honor Society and have demonstrated qualities in a CTE program.”
Awards were handed out in areas including Advanced Manufacturing, Automotive Technology, Criminal Justice, Early Childhood Education, Fire and Rescue, Health Science, HVAC and Radio / TV.
