The 58th Annual Crawfordsville Kiwanis Club’s Pancake Day was a success Thursday at the Montgomery County 4-H Fairgrounds. The event was to support the mission of Kiwanis to serve children in need. There were 18 sponsors for this year’s event. Pictured, Jim McCampbell and Elizabeth Justice are vital parts of Kiwanis in Crawfordsville and helped organize the event. Money raised at the Pancake Day will go to support children in organizations such as local schools, Family Crisis Shelter, Pat Cline Scholarships, Boys & Girls Clubs, Youth Service Bureau, FISH, local libraries, the Annual Red Ribbon Breakfast, summer lunch program and the Mary Ludwig Free Clinic. Kiwanis is also a major supporter of Riley Children’s Hospital in Indianapolis.
