    Anderson University has announced its dean's list for the fall semester of the 2014-2015 academic years.

    To be named to the dean's list, a student must earn a semester grade point average of 3.5 or higher on a scale of 4.0.

    David W. Ricketts, of Crawfordsville, recently made the honor roll at Oregon State University. Ricketts was honored for earning a GPA above 3.5 for the fall term. He is a senior, majoring in fisheries and wildlife science. To be on the Honor Roll, students must carry at least 12 graded hours of course work.

    Since Wabash College's founding in 1832, the College has been proud to graduate eight Rhodes Scholars. Jacob Burnett '15 will become the ninth in May.

    Burnett, Mishawaka, learned yesterday he was one of 32 students in the nation to be named a Rhodes. He will work toward his master's degree at Oxford in the fall of 2015. The 32 winners are selected from a pool of 877 candidates.

    The North Montgomery School Board approved revisions to the school corporation's social media policy.

    North Montgomery Superintendent Dr. Colleen Moran said that the board approved the policy in the spring, but teachers did not receive the policy until after this school year started.
