Jeremy Patrick Taylor Gentry, also known simply as “G”, 40, Crawfordsville, passed away Tuesday, April 18, 2017 in Lafayette.
Born Jan. 18, 1977 in Crawfordsville, he was the son of Belinda Gentry Magill and Timothy McGuire.
He was a 1995 graduate of Crawfordsville High School. He was an account manager at Kirby Risk for 20 years. He played softball and was on the Board of Directors for the Crawfordsville Area Softball Association. He was one of the founders on the Co-Ed Volleyball League and former league supervisor of the Men’s Flag Football League. He loved the Cubs and Green Bay Packers, but most of all, he loved spending time with his kids.
Survivors include a son, Grahm Gentry; a daughter, Jade Gentry; his mother, Belinda Magill; former spouse, Tina Gentry; a grandmother, Patsy Gentry; a grandfather, Robert Gentry; his father, Timothy McGuire; and an aunt, Juli (Terry) Gentry Barker.
Surviving family includes: his son, Grahm Gentry; daughter, Jade Gentry; mother, Belinda Magill; former spouse, Tina Gentry; grandmother, Patsy Gentry; grandfather, Robert Gentry; father, Timothy McGuire; aunt, Juli (Terry) Gentry Barker.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday, April 24 at Burkhart Funeral Home. Family and friends may pay their respects two hours prior to service. According to his wishes, his organs were donated and will benefit more than 70 people.
