Marjorie (Reddish) Goff, 93, Crawfordsville, passed away in her home at 6 p.m. on Wednesday, April 19, 2017.
She was born on June 15, 1923 to Otto L. Reddish and Mary Blanche Oglesbee in Waveland and lived most of her childhood in the Byron area.
She was a 1941 graduate of Waveland High School and married Charles B. Goff on Nov. 15, 1941 at Phanuel Lutheran Church in Wallace and they celebrated 70 years of marriage together. She was a member of Phanuel Lutheran Church in Wallace, and a member of the Eastern Star in Alamo where she was their pianist. She was also a member of the New Market Women’s Club and Alamo’s Home Economics Club. Mrs. Goff did needlework, was an excellent cook, and especially enjoyed making pies. She was an admirable mother, grandmother and housekeeper.
Survivors include two sons, Dale F. (Connie) Goff of Rockville and Kenneth V. Goff of Rockville; three daughters, Sharon L. Goff of Crawfordsville, Mary Ann (Tom) Bishop of Mt. Comfort and Teresa L. (Pete) Largent of Crawfordsville; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles B. Goff; a daughter, Marilyn K. Brown and a grandson, Shane Bishop.
Funeral services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday, April 24 at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home in Waveland with Pastor Mike Whitacre officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, April 23 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery South.
