Raymond Randolph Ryan, 53, Crawfordsville passed away Monday morning, Feb. 13, 2017 at home.
Born Sept. 11, 1963 in Crawfordsville, he was the son of Patrick Henry Ryan and Mary Diane McClure.
He graduated from Crawfordsville High School and for the past few years was working on writing a book. He became an ordained minister in 2009. He enjoyed poetry, visiting the library and playing dice and poker. He was also a life-long Pittsburgh Steelers fan.
Survivors include four sisters, Martha May Maxwell, Dallas Devon Davis, Kamya Kell Causley and Shawn Synna Wilson; a brother, Patrick Henry Ryan, Jr.; his father, Patrick Henry Ryan; many nieces and nephews; and a special companion, Melinda Spicer along with several friends at the Athena Center.
He was preceded in death by his mother.
There will be no public services. His family will hold a memorial service at a later date. A special thanks to the caregivers and staff at Promise Home Services, Helping Hand Chauffer Service, Meals on Wheels and Area IV Agency, whose compassionate care helped “Randy” live an active and fulfilling life.
