DANVILLE - Crawfordsville made the trip to Danville Friday evening looking to spoil the Warriors perfect Sagamore Athletic Conference record. However, the Warriors showed why they are ranked No. 5 in the latest Class 3A poll, as they pulled away from the Athenians 75-39, to claim back-to-back conference championships.

Crawfordsville started the game attacking Danville's 1-3-1 half court defense and getting lay-ups. The Athenians held a 6-4 advantage midway through the first, which caused the Warriors to switch to man.
