DANVILLE-Danville won a Sagamore Athletic Conference boys' soccer battle Saturday, 10-1 over North Montgomery.

Corbin Osborne scored the only goal for the Chargers. It came in the second half off of an assist from Braiden Slavens. North Montgomery failed to convert a penalty kick just five minutes into the game that could have stole the momentum.

"It's never fun to be on the losing end of a score like that," North Montgomery coach Mike Margeson said. "Danville is a good team but I thought we could have competed a little better in the second half."

The Chargers played most of the second half with only 10 players after a red card was issued. The Warriors scored seven of their goals in that half.
