The Sugar Creek Swim Club hosted its annual Strawberry Splash swimming competition over the weekend. The event was held in conjunction with the Crawfordsville Strawberry Festival and was won by the hosts, SCSC. SCSC scored 3806 points to easily defeat Bloomington Normal, who came in second with 2923.5 points.

"Winning our own invite will always be a goal of mine," said SCSC Director Kevin Hedrick.

There were also 17 SCSC swimmers who achieved a new divisional cut time. The divisional Championships will be held Aug. 3-4 at Fishers High School.
