DANVILLE- The Chargers began their first conference game against Danville a little slow. After going down early, they would go on to lose 11-6.
North was cold with the bats against Danville Tuesday night. They couldn’t string together enough hits to get any runs in early on and went down by 10 after four innings. They were finally able to somewhat respond in the fifth by scoring two runs and holding Danville to none. The top of the seventh was when the Chargers began to get a little hotter at the plate, but it was just too late. They scored four runs in the final inning to inch a little closer, but it wasn’t enough.
North (4-5, SAC 2-1) will get another chance to compete against Danville on Thursday on their own turf.
