BRAZIL – Crawfordsville and Northview battled in a close tennis match Tuesday night. The Knights won a tight three-setter at No. 1 doubles to take the 3-2 win.
Sarah Chalmers and Lilly Bushon nabbed wins at No. 1 and No. 2 singles for the Athenians. Emmy Hale and Emily West won the first set of No. 1 doubles 6-3 before dropping the second set 6-4. The teams battled back-and-forth in the third set with the Northview duo prevailing 6-4.
Crawfordsville (2-3) is at home tonight against Sagamore Athletic Conference rival Lebanon.
