The Salvation Army of Montgomery County is pleased to announce the 2021 Red Kettle Campaign was a success. Donations from the community totaled $29,084.76. All funds remain in Montgomery County and will provide help and hope to those in need throughout 2022. Services offered include assistance for food, clothing, utilities, medication, rent, and disaster relief as well as other crisis-related needs

The local Council has also reorganized. Clay Adams has been named the Council Chairperson and Tura Klepfer is the Service Representative, serving with council members Ken Doty, Joey Hamby, and Silas Adams. New Hope Christian Church has generously opened their doors to be the home office for the local chapter.

“We are grateful to Pastor Darrell Portwood and the board of New Hope for coming alongside us to serve those in need in our community,” Adams said. “Partnering with a local church is an important way we can focus our resources on direct assistance.”
