Durham Home Creates Croquet Tournament

Durham Home Inc, invites the community to participate in its “Though the Wicket” Croquet Tournament, Saturday Sept. 20, 2 p.m. on the lawn of historic Durham Home, 215 W. Main St. in Crawfordsville.

Enjoy an elegant afternoon of garden party croquet competition, fine refreshments and fun. Prizes will be awarded to the top two-person teams. As a nonprofit, the mission of DHI is to positively impact the lives of Montgomery County women of all ages.

Proceeds from this event will support two Durham Home scholarship funds for women at the Montgomery County Community Foundation; one for a graduating high school senior, the other for a non-traditional student seeking continuing education.

To register as a team or as a spectator, or to explore business sponsorship opportunities, go to durhamhome.com under “Events’.

Competition registration is limited to twelve teams, so act quickly.

Refreshments for “Through the Wicket” registered participants and spectators will be provided by The Juniper Spoon, plus a Tipsy Traveler cash bar will be available.
