Indiana Secretary of State at National Conference
Secretary of State Diego Morales attended the National Association of Secretaries of State Summer Conference in Mississippi, alongside approximately 30 Secretaries and Lt. Governors.
The NASS Conference allows Secretaries of State from across the nation to network, exchange knowledge, and discuss public policy developments. This collaboration aims to strengthen ties, promote consistency in best practices and reinforce a shared commitment to serving the American people.
Discussions at the conference covered cybersecurity, election administration, securities, international relations, business services, federal legislation, remote electronic notarization, company ownership, and many other relevant issues.
“It was an honor to represent and advocate for Indiana and continue to make developments for Hoosiers at this year’s NASS Summer Conference,” Morales said. “Collaborating with other state officials strengthens relations across our country, generating strong networks and valuable insights. I’m looking forward to applying the concepts I have gathered from this conference while continuing to put Indiana’s best foot forward.”
NASS is the nation’s oldest, nonpartisan professional organization for public officials in the U.S.
