Carnegie Museum Looking for Farms, Barns Artifacts

The Carnegie Museum is seeking artifacts for its next local history exhibit, Centennial Farms & Heritage Barns. This year, the museum will be celebrating farming, barns, and agriscience. Is your farm a Hoosier Homestead Farm and been in the family 100 years or more? Did you participate in 4-H or FFA in Montgomery County? Do you have jackets, trophies, ribbons, or photos that you’d be willing to donate or loan for the exhibit? We’d love to share your experiences with the community! Please contact Curator Janna Bennett at (765) 362-4622 or jbennett@carnegiemuseum.in.gov to discuss your items. The exhibit will be on display April 4 – Oct. 31, 2026.

The Carnegie Museum is located at 222 S. Washington St. in Crawfordsville. Admission is free, and the museum is wheelchair and stroller accessible. The Carnegie Museum is open Wednesday-Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
