Roy Tremble, a renowned gospel singer from Chesterfield, Ind. will return to the Friendship Baptist Church to sing the lord’s praises on Aug. 28 at 6 p.m. Tremble has sung with several other worship acts in the past, including The Rebels, Whitney Gleason, The Weatherfords and The Cathedrals. She said he has even been called one of the finest voices in gospel. The concert will last about an hour and will take place at the church, which is located at 1981 W. Oak Hill Rd. in Crawfordsville.

New Market Baptist Church
The New Market Baptist Church will meet Sunday with Pastor Wallie Nichols bringing the message. Sunday School classes meet at 9 a.m. with worship service beginning at 10:00 a.m. Youth will not meet until Sept. 11 from 3-4:30 p.m. Bible Study on Wednesday evening at 7:00 p.m. Susan Harding Missionary Circle will meet on Thursday, September 1. New Market Christian Church

Coffee & Donut Fellowship is the first Sunday of each month in the Family Life Center at 8:30 am before morning services. The next fellowship is Sunday, September 4. Please join us!

Sunday School is at 9 a.m. for all ages with a nursery available. At 10 a.m., there is a worship service along with children’s church in the Family Life Center with a nursery available during the worship hour. For morning worship at 10:00 a.m., Gary Snowden will be speaking on “Mission Accomplished!”. His scripture will be from John 19:28-30. Special Music will be presented by New Market Christian Church Choir.

Bible Study resumes on September 14 at 6:00 pm. Choir is every Wednesday at 7:00 pm.

Collecting items for the "Operation Christmas Shoe Box" has begun. Bring your items and your note to the person to receive the box to the church soon. This is a world wide mission and a chance to start a new friendship.
This Sunday the services will open with the prelude with Pauline Alexander at the organ, and Attitude Adjustment by the choir directed by Karen Fruits. Prayer Time and the Doxoloy will be followed by Congregational Singing Praises to God. Andy Biddle will "Share to Glorify God"
