343 Foster Kids in Forever Homes

During the month of November, 343 Hoosier kids were adopted with the help of dozens of successful National Adoption Month events held across the state, according to the Indiana Department of Child Services. The adoptions that took place in November are an increase of more than 23 percent from last year's same annual celebration.

Additionally, on National Adoption Day, celebrated on Nov. 17, the Indiana Supreme Court opened their courtroom doors to allow the public to witness and celebrate adoptions being finalized.

I am extremely grateful to Hoosiers who opened their hearts and homes to these children.
