The Crawfordsville girl’s golf team celebrated senior night on Monday night honoring Georgia Kincaid as they hosted Attica and Seeger. Kincaid along with the rest of the Athenians were able to celebrate a win to go along with their last home match of the season as they shot a 210 on the night to pick up the victory. 

Seeger finished in second place with a 212 while Attica shot a 245. 

The Athenians were led by First Team All-Conference selection (with her performance at the conference meet over the weekend) Bailey Mittal who took home the individual medalist honors with a 47. Gwen Redding followed in second for the Athenians with a 52. Twin sister Evie Redding carded a 54 with Kincaid shooting a 57 in her last home meet. Rounding out the score for the Athenians was Sadie Walker (67) and McKenzie Wilson (69). 

The Athenians will be back in action on Wednesday as the will face off against Southmont and North Montgomery for the county title. 

Chargers fall to Tri-West

LIZTON – The North Montgomery Chargers team traveled to Lizton for a match against Tri-West and Fountain Central. The Mustangs ended up not being in attendance so the Bruins and Chargers competed amongst themselves. 

At the conclusion of the match, the Bruins came out on top by a final score of 190-237. 

The Chargers were led by Grace Shrader who carded a 57 on the night. Grace Littell fell one stroke back of Shrader and finished with a 58 for the

Chargers. Abbie Horn carded a 60 with Ella Stultz ending with a 62. Rounding out the scoring for the Chargers was Morgan Swick (63) and Maggie Yeager (69). 

The Chargers will return to action on Wednesday to compete in the county meet against Crawfordsville and Southmont.
