NEW MARKET – The Southmont Mountie tennis team continued their impressive season on Tuesday night as they traveled to Covington to take on the Trojans. The Mounties came out victorious 3-1-1 with the tie coming in No. 1 singles because of it becoming too dark for play to continue. 
Connor McVay played the fastest match of his career and improved his individual record to 13-1 on the year.

The win for the Mounties improves their record to 12-2 on the season. The team will return to action on Thursday when the team will be on the road again as they travel to Terre Haute South Vigo.

Chargers fall in competitive match against Frankfort

FRANKFORT – The Chargers tennis team were back on the courts Tuesday as the team traveled to face Sagamore Conference opponent Frankfort. The Chargers after coming off a 2-3 loss yesterday to the Athenians were looking to build off that loss against the hotdogs. 
In the end the Hotdogs would come away with 5-0 win.
