The North Montgomery High School choir “NMHS Fully Charged” will be special guests at the Crawfordsville Community Chorus concert Sunday at 3 p.m. in First Christian Church, Crawfordsville. The students will perform “And So It Goes” arranged by Bob Chilcott with a solo by Isaac Bacon, baritone, and “Paze Kafe” arranged by Sten Kallman. The Community Chorus will sing sacred pieces by Bach, Mozart, Haydn, Beethoven and Mendelssohn, and modern secular American selections.
The groups will join in a patriotic finale, “An American Hymn” by Cecil Effinger. Kelly Cassady conducts the North Montgomery Chorus. Dan Booher is director and Tom Lowe accompanist of the town/gown community chorus.
The community is invited to this free musicale, using the church entrance with elevator in its Walnut Street/Pike Street parking lot. A reception will follow the concert. For more information about this spring celebration contact sbevans43@gmail.com / 362-6274.
