In time for holiday gift purchasing, Mad Hatter Shows announces a summer 2020 comedy event to come to Crawfordsville. Nationally touring comedy personality Donnie Baker will headline the Masonic Temple, located at 221 S Washington St, on Friday July 17 at 8 PM. It will mark his first show in town since 2016.
Donnie Baker is a rude, wacked-out, overzealous nitwit. You hear Donnie every morning on the nationally syndicated radio program "The Bob & Tom Show." Now, you can see him live! He'll tell you stories about all the characters in his life that you have come to love, like his boss Randy, his best friend Scotty Winkler, his ex-girlfriend Angel Skinner, and of course his mom Phyllis.
Opening the show will be Crawfordsville native Neil Snyder. He began putting shows on in the area beginning in 2012 and now works with the Mad Hatter brand. In that time, he’s performed hundreds of times in six different states, including tours with Jimmie Walker and with cast members of the hit show ‘Trailer Park Boys.’
Tickets for this event are available by searching etix or by going directly to madhattershows.com. Advanced tickets start at $27. The show is expected to last until 9:30 p.m. Beer, wine, water, and soft drinks will be available for sale. All ages are admitted to the event, but it is recommended for those 17 years of age and up, because of adult content. The Mad Hatter Shows website also includes links to announced area comedy concerts with Roseanne Barr, Heywood Banks, Pauly Shore, and the Freedom To Laugh tour.
