Hoosier Heartland State Bank is thanking everyone in the community for coming out and supporting the recent food drive.
“We can’t thank our communities enough for their generosity,” stated Brad Monts of HHSB. “These communities are very generous. Each time we have these food drives, we meet new people willing to give. And we appreciate every one of them.”
This year, HHSB collected a total of 2492 pounds of food and other donations for Grace & Mercy food Pantry, up 142 pounds from last year.
“We wanted to increase results from last year and we did,” stated Trey Etcheson of HHSB. “We were thrilled with the response and send a big thank you to everyone who participated with the drive.”
In addition to non-perishable food items, Grace & Mercy accepts the following items: laundry detergent, body soaps, hand soaps, paper towel, and toilet paper. They assist nearly 500 families a month.
