With Frankenstein on the mind, Wabash College professors and students recently paid a visit to Northridge Middle School for a fun day of learning and experimenting with neuroscience. All students at Northridge were given the chance to participate during lunch breaks. Neil Schmitzer-Torbert and Heidi Walsh from Wabash were the professors overseeing the event as well as about 11 volunteers from Wabash College Neuroscience. Activities included hand control, sheep brains, a tea that temporarily blocks ability to taste sweetness and vision distortion goggles. In conjunction with the Frankenfest Event this Friday, Oct. 12, students got to further explore the theme that Frankenstein was haunted with when he created the monster. "JUST BECAUSE YOU CAN, SHOULD YOU?"
