Our four legged friends will have a new place to meet furry companions soon. The Parks and Recreation Department will host a ribbon cutting at the new Bark Avenue Dog Park located at 1104 Big Four Arch Rd. on Friday, Oct. 12 at 2 p.m.
This project is a partnership between the Parks and Recreation Department and the Montgomery County Animal Welfare League. The property is owned by the Animal Welfare League and the park will be operated by the Parks and Recreation Department. All proceeds from the sale of memberships will benefit the Animal Welfare League.
The park will be open daily from dawn to dusk. Memberships can be purchased at the Parks and Recreation office at 922 E. South Blvd. Proof of current vaccinations is required to purchase a membership and all adult owners must sign a liability waiver. A full list of rules and membership prices is available on the Parks and Recreation page of the city’s website www.crawfordsville.net
