The Indiana Department of Transportation announced that State Road 32 will close just over one and one half mile east of U.S. 41 on or after Monday, Sept. 24 to replace a small structure. The road is scheduled to reopen on Oct. 27. The structure is located between South C.R. 200 East and South C.R. 270 East.
The official detour follows U.S. 41 to U.S. 136 to S.R. 341 and back to S.R. 32.
This project also includes extending a small structure on S.R. 32 just east of Crawfordsville. The S.R. 32 eastbound turn lane for Montgomery Place II will be restricted during construction and work should be completed by October 5.
This project was awarded to Rieth-Riley Construction, Inc. for $421,726.
