On Oct. 27, Family Support Services of West Central Indiana is asking you to join them on a “trip” to the west. They will be hosting Family Support Services Gone Austin as the signature fundraising event which will raise funds to support its domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse and neglect intervention and preventative services.
This first year event will be held on Saturday, Oct. 27 at Harvest Barn in Greencastle and is presented by Ascena Retail Group. It will begin at 6 p.m. and will include an amazing night of food provided by Putnam Inn Catering, music entertainment by Anderson DJ and Karaoke and silent auction in support of the Family Support Service of West Central Indiana. “The events of this past year gives us many reasons to celebrate our mission of breaking the cycle of domestic violence, sexual assault, child abuse and neglect in the communities we serve in Putnam, Owen, Clay, Montgomery and Boone Counties. We encourage the members of the community to join us for this celebration, because without them we could not do the great work our advocates and case managers do every year,” said Scott Monnett, Executive Director.
If you’re interested in becoming a sponsor or donating to the silent auction, please contact Scott Monnett at (765) 653-4820 or email him at scott.monnett@pcfss.net. For event details or to purchase tickets you can call FSSWCI or visit www.fsswci.net.
