A 19-year-old Crawfordsville teen was flown to an Indianapolis hospital by LifeLine Helicopter following a serious accident that involved to semi-tractor trailers and a Ford pickup truck Tuesday afternoon.
According to the Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office, Parker Schroll – the 19-year-old from Crawfordsville – was driving a Ford F-550 west on Indiana 32, just east of Interstate 74, that collided with a semi going east. Schroll’s truck then collided with another semi. The first semi was being driven by Abdinuur M. Mohamed, a 36-year-old from Minneapolis. The second semi was being driven by Richard Rice, a 57-year-old from Danville, Ill. The accident occurred around 4:25 p.m. Tuesday.
The Sheriff’s Department reported that the cause of the accident is under investigation. They were assisted by Crawfordsville Police and Fire, Indiana State Police and the county’s Emergency Management department.
