The Wabash College Jazz Ensemble will present its Spring Concert at 7:30 p.m., Tuesday, April 16, in Salter Concert Hall in the Fine Arts Center.
The wide range of compositions available for jazz musicians to perform is one of many things that make this music interesting, and the spring repertoire will prove to be a vast array of styles and moods. The concert will present crisp bossa novas, lush ballads, hard-swinging standards, and funky combo tunes.
Scott Pazera has directed the jazz band at Wabash since 2012.
The program is free and open to the public.
