The 2019 Montgomery County Women’s Lenten Breakfast schedule has been set and breakfast will be served for six Saturdays during the Lenten season. Each breakfast will be served at 8 a.m. with the program from 8:30 a.m. to 9:45 a.m. Childcare is provided and a love offering is available. The purpose of the Women’s Lenten Breakfast is to bring sisters together in a serious spiritual setting that provides a time for examining ones heart through repentance and remembrance of Christ’s death and resurrection. The theme and song of the breakfast is “There is Power in the Blood,” and the verse is Matthew 26:28.
On March 16, 2019 the breakfast will be held at 1st United Methodist, 212 E Wabash Avenue, the speaker will be Reverend Mike Wren and special music will be performed by Gary Ketchum.
