Donald William Reddish “Donnie Bill”, 76, of Russellville, passed away on Oct. 2, 2019 at his home.
He was born on Oct. 26, 1942 in Crawfordsville to the late William R. and Frances Evelyn (Rice) Reddish. He was first married to Frances Oberring. He then married Karen E. (Wilson) Reddish on March 9, 1984 in Crawfordsville. She survives. He was a 1960 graduate of George Washington High School. He worked at RR Donnelley from 1962 until retirement in 2005. Upon retirement he managed the Turkey Run Golf Course for several years. He was the president of the Russellville Town Council, a member of the Masonic Lodge, where he was the Lodge Master in 1978, and also a member of Russellville Community Christian Church. He enjoyed playing poker, golf, softball, and bowling. He is fondly remembered as always telling jokes and making people laugh. His family meant everything to him and he loved to spend time with them.
Survivors include his wife, Karen, of Russellville; children, Cynthia Kelsey, Ladoga; Mary (Richard) Watt, Crawfordsville; step children, Nancy (Gregory) West, Russellville; Lynn (Scott) Davidson, Crawfordsville; Bob Jones (Stephanie St. Clair), Crawfordsville; Mike Jones (Hope Record), Crawfordsville; fifteen grandchildren, twelve great grandchildren, siblings, Mary (Ralph) Bruin, Guion; Kathryn (Danny) Marshall, Crawfordville; Carolyn (Daryl) Fullen, Brownsburg, and seventeen nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by, his parents, first wife, Frances Oberring, brothers, Jim and John Reddish, sister, Lois Cloncs, and daughter, Diana Brewer.
Funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. on, Oct. 7, 2019, at Machledt & Servies Funeral Home, 301 E. Green Street, Waveland, IN 47989, with Pastor Alan Small officiating. Burial will follow in Hebron Cemetery. Friends and family may pay their respects three hours before the time of service.
