Drew Robert Neal, 27, of Crawfordsville, passed away on Saturday, March 20, 2021.
He was born in Crawfordsville on Dec. 29, 1993 to Dale Neal and Rhonda Goodman.
Mr. Neal graduated from North Montgomery High School in 2012 and Indiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in Education. He did his student teaching at Terre Haute North High School. Throughout the years he worked at Steak ‘n Shake, Creek Side, the Country Club and worked at Cracker Barrell since it opened. Mr. Neal was currently the business teacher at Crawfordsville High School for the last four years and was active in the Link Crew, Prom Committee, Spirit Club, Middle School Stage Crew for the musical, was the 9th grade class sponsor and was looking forward to chaperoning the student trip this summer to Costa Rica. Mr. Neal enjoyed traveling, singing, kayaking, was a social butterfly and a Cubs fan. He loved spending time with his family and loved teaching his students. He had a contagious smile that would always light up a room.
Survivors include his father, Dale (Marcia) Neal; his mother, Rhonda (Patrick) Goodman; his siblings, Blake (Kalyn) Neal, Kaitlyn Neal, Tanner Neal (twin brother), Jana Perrott, Josh (Leah) Neal and Emily (Tristin) Knee; his grandparents, Carolyn Sue and Robert Rosenbaum; nieces and nephews, Gracelyn Neal, Naomi Neal, Brixton Neal, Addison Knee, Alex Neal, Sophia Neal, Camden Perrott and Ella Perrott; his two fur babies, DC and Patches; and countless students and friends.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Marlin and Naomi Sue Neal.
Visitation will be at Sanders Priebe Funeral Care, 315 S Washington St, in Crawfordsville on Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 1 p.m. till the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 6 p.m. The service will be live-streamed and recorded which can be viewed on his obituary page at www.sandersfuneralcare.com. Cremation will follow the service.
