Reba M. (Clift) Page, 77 of Veedersburg, passed away in the OSF Sacred Heart Medical Center, Danville, Ill. on Thursday, March 7, 2019 at 5:13 p.m.
She was born at home in Veedersburg, on May 4, 1941. She was the daughter of the late Charles F. and Alta M. (Byers) Clift.
She was raised in Veedersburg, graduating from Veedersburg High School in 1959. Mrs. Page formerly lived in Hillsboro for 45 years, before returning to Veedersburg a few years ago. On Aug. 6, 1961 Reba married Bill Cooper in Veedersburg. She later married Jim Page on January 22, 1971 in Crawfordsville. She worked as a library and audiovisual aide at Fountain Central High School for 19 years, retiring in 2004. She was a member of the Community Bible Baptist Church in Veedersburg.
Survivors include her husband, Jim of nearly 48 years, who adored her; three daughters, Stacy (Terry) Easter of Covington; Shelly (Jeff) Lindquist of Veedersburg and Jerilyn O’Connor of Crawfordsville; a son, Scott(Jamie) Page of Lebanon; a sister, Ann (Marion) Watson of Crawfordsville; a brother, Jack (Ann) Clift of Lake Charles, La.; nine grandchildren, Aaron (Lisa) Cooper, Kashawndra Cooper, Grant Easter, Matthew Powell, Morgan Powell, Kenzi Lindquist, Jordan Lindquist, Breanna Page and Bradley Page; seven great-grandchildren and countless friends.
She was preceded in death by a son, Shawn Cooper; two sisters, Doris Olmstead and Betty Mitton along with a brother, Don Clift.
Reba taught her family and friends how to love, laugh and live joyfully and to not take life too seriously.
Funeral services are scheduled for 6 p.m. Thursday, March 14 at Sterling Christian Church in Veedersburg with Pastors Gary Johnson and Even Sharbaugh officiating. Family and friends may pay their respects three hours prior to service.
Memorial donations may be made to the Community Bible Baptist Church or the Paws ‘n Claws Animal Shelter.
