Theodore “Ted” Scott passed away March 5, 2019 at Bickford.
He was born Feb. 12, 1930 to William Howard & Mary Catherine Surber Scott.
He married Letha Zachary February 13, 1954. He served in the National guard and was a member of Woodland Heights Christian Church. He served as a deacon and Sunday School teacher.
Mr. Scott was employed by RR Donnelley for 44 years working in the art department. He was a mentor to many young people. He enjoyed helping the elderly and working with the disabled. Hew as a painter and cartoonist.
Survivors include his daughters Susan Stull and Cheryl (William) Leech of Crawfordsville; grandchildren Ryan (Stephanie) Millbern, Benjamin Millbern, Kathryn Stull, Megan (Ryan Horner) Leech, Lindsay Leech, Ashley Leech, and Kassie (Jerry) Gray; great-grandchildren Marlo and Harlan Millbern and Will Leech.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Letha; and sisters Norma Johnson and Rosemary Scott.
A celebration of his live will be held at 3 p.m. on Saturday, March 9 at Woodland Heights Family Life Center. A short service will begin at 3 followed by fellowship and sharing of stories about his amazing life.
