Crawfordsville faced another stiff challenge Monday evening in the form of the Class A no. 7, Lafayette Central Catholic (6-3).
The Knights proved their rank, scoring six first-half goals on the way to a 10-1 victory.
“Our last four games have been really tough and will only help us going forward.” Athenian head coach Laurie Vellner said of games against Terre Haute North, Lebanon, Danville and Central Catholic. “I feel that we’ve progressed as a team every single game, and we’re doing better at the things we’re working on in practice.”
