The Crawfordsville Athenians boys' basketball team walked away with a victory tonight as they defeated Riverton Parke 44-34.

"Our guys gutted out a hard fought win. We were plague by poor shooting and struggled to get things going early," Athenian Coach David Pierce said.

Freshman Trent Johnson led the Athenians tonight with 15 points. Johnson also contributed seven rebounds. Konner Smith followed behind Johnson with 14 points and seven rebounds.

"Proud of our resiliency and look forward to preparing for our toughest week to date," said Pierce.

Cheer on the Athenians as they battle on the court Feb. 12 against Central Catholic beginning at 7:30 p.m. and Saturday afternoon at 2:30 p.m. for a home game against Tri-West.
