Joining Maddy Hurt on the Montgomery County All-County Girls Cross Country team are: Kelsey Dugger, of Southmont; Hana Heide, Haley Heide and Courtney Clark from North Montgomery.

Dugger was a regional qualifier this season. She took seventh at the Sagamore Athletic Conference meet.

Hana and Haley Heide were the second and third fastest girls in the county consistently all season. Both broke the 21-minute mark to advance out of the Harrison regional and into the New Prairie semistate. Hana was 102nd and Haley was 118th as individuals. They both broke the sophomore record at North Montgomery this season.

Courtney Clark helped the Chargers to county and conference titles and a spot in the regional as a team. She provided leadership for a young team throughout the year.

Honorable mentions for the All-County team are Madison Pinkard, Emma McDole and Kenzie Emerick, all from North Montgomery. Pinkard earned first team All-Conference with a ninth place finish. McDole and Emerick were second team All-Conference with top-20 finishes.

Players of the Year and All-County teams are chosen by the Montgomery County head coaches and the sports staff of The Paper of Montgomery County.
