Cloverdale-The Crawfordsville girls' golf team lost a close one Tuesday, falling to Cloverdale with a final score of 215-220.

"We played well on a course we didn't know. We are very consistent. We have a few days off to work on things," Athenian coach Roger Tribbett said.

Leading on the course for the Athenians was Regina Go with a score of 50. Two other Athenians left the green with scores in the 50s including Olivia Grady with a 51 and Shania Harrison with a 54. Katelyn Dixon had a 64.

The Crawfordsville girls' golf team will be on its home course Tuesday, facing off against Western Boone and Danville. Crawfordsville is now 2-1.
