CLINTON-It was a record-setting night for the Crawfordsville girls' soccer team. Hannah Whicker scored five goals to bring her career total to 88 and pass Meghan Mummert for first on the all time scoring list at CHS. The Athenians beat South Vermillion 6-0 in the Wednesday contest.

"Nobody works harder on the field than Hannah," head coach Brent Bokhart said. "Everything she gets is earned and deserved."

Crawfordsville, who outshot South Vermillion 20-2, also got a goal and an assist from Krystyn Flynn. Sarah Rogers, Cali Saunders and Meghan Griggs also had assists.

"It's been almost a week since our last game and it definitely showed," Bokhart said. "We were rusty with our touches and lacked intensity."

Crawfordsville (7-1-1) returns home with Sheridan tonight.
