The Crawfordsville girls' soccer team won their home opener 8-0 over Delphi and Hannah Whicker once again stole the show. The senior scored five goals on the night to bring her total to nine on the year.

"We struggled a little to find our rhythm early on, but worked hard to do the little things better and eventually started playing Athenian soccer," head coach Brent Bokhart said. "Hannah was aggressive in the attacking third and really had a great game. Defense was strong with another shutout."

Reilly Dunham helped out the offense with a pair of goals and Karla Zapata added one of her own. Zaira Hernandez and Krystyn Flynn tallied assists, as did Dunham. Olivia Cody recorded the shutout in the goal.

Crawfordsville (2-0) will be home again on Monday when Greencastle comes to town.
