Danville was victorious against Tri-West in girls' basketball tonight for the IHSAA class 3A girls' basketball state tournament in the championship game.



Tri-West ended the first half strong, leading 23-19. Danville, however, turned the tables and was leading by six points after the third quarter and continued to increase their lead, ending the game winning 57-48.



Nicki Kiefer led Danville in points with 16. Maleha Motter had nine rebounds and 12 points. The leading assists was held by Allie Lake with seven.



Karen Jones lead the Bruins with 18 points, 11 rebounds, and 3 assists. Following close behind in rebounds is Marita VanDyke with seven.



This game concludes the end of the season for 14-15 girls' high school basketball.
