The Frankfort Hot Dogs traveled to Rossville High School for a competitive basketball game and that is exactly what they got.

With the score almost equal at the end of every quarter, the boys' basketball team had to go into double overtime before sending the hornets flying back to their nest with a win of 58-53.

"We played a very physical, good awesome team tonight at their house, which is always a harder atmosphere. We really battled in the four quarters and then again in the first over-time, and we sealed the deal in the second over time," says Frankfort Coach Jarod Catron.

The Stars had to compete tonight without two starters as Catron comments, "We had two starters (Carter Taylor and Jarrod Smith) foul out in the first quarter. We had to pull players from off the bench, and they put in really good effort and put their hearts in it."

It was not until the second overtime when the Hot Dogs were ahead of the Hornets. "Defense was the main key tonight and big rebounds," says Catron.

Cheer on the Hot Dogs Jan. as they welcome Lafayette Central Catholic. Catron calls Lafayette Central Catholic a "very tough competitor. We're going to have to really break down the film and see what our next defense move is going to have to be." The game will begin at 7:30 p.m.
