FRANKFORT-A 1-0 spread at halftime turned into a 6-0 final as North Montgomery dropped its Sagamore Athletic Conference opener to Frankfort Thursday in boys' soccer.

Logan Slovacek made 18 saves, but the Hot Dog attack was too hot in the second half.

"Overall, I'm pretty happy with the game. I thought we fought until the very end and our first half was especially good," Charger mentor Mike Margeson said. "We're improving each day. We're battling and that is encouraging."

The Hot Dogs out-shot the Chargers 24-6.

North Montgomery (1-2, 0-1 SAC) is back in action Saturday at Western Boone. The boys will play after the girls.
