FRANKFORT -- The Frankfort girls' basketball team has plenty to be happy about this holiday season.

The Lady Hot Dogs won their own holiday tournament by defeating Northwestern by a score of 70-48.

After a 13 year drought the Dogs have now won back to back holiday tournament championships.

Leading the team in scoring was Jacenda Perry with 19 points, while Cassidy Dubree and Taylor Kirby added 18 and 16 respectfully. Perry also added 7 rebounds, 5 assists and 6 steals.

The Lady Hot Dogs advanced to the championship game of their holiday tournament by defeating Belmont in the morning game by a score of 41-31.

Leading the scoring for the Lady Dogs was Taylor Kirby with 18 points while Cassidy Dubree added 13 points. Tania Olives led the team in rebounding with 8 boards.

The two wins bring Frankfort (7-7) back to .500 on the season.
