LINDEN – North Montgomery enters their Friday night Sagamore Conference match-up with Frankfort on a roll. The Chargers are on a four-game winning streak, outscoring those opponents by an average of 15-points per game, including 20 plus-point wins over West Lafayette and Benton Central.

Frankfort on the other hand has won three of their last four. Their only setback was a 20-point loss to Danville, on Feb. 4.

The Hot Dogs, playing their fourth consecutive road game, are 7-10 overall and 2-3 in the Conference. They average nearly 61 points per game but surrender 67.

They have three players in double figures led by senior Jarrod Smith at 21.3, junior Carter Taylor at 15.4 and senior Jordan Campbell at 12.1.

North Montgomery is 12-6 overall and 3-2 in the Sagamore. They average 59 points offensively and give up 53 points on average.

Junior Caleb Randolph paces the Chargers at 18.4 per game. Seniors Devon Zachary and Alex Parsons average right around eight-points per game. Parsons pull down a team-leading eight rebounds per game as well.

The two teams have split their last 10 meetings but the Hot Dogs have won the last four, including last year’s 71.64 win in the Sectional semi-final to knock the Chargers from the playoffs.

North Montgomery has their final double weekend as they look to stay in the top half of the Conference standings with a win Friday night over the Hot Dogs, before travelling to 1-17 Riverton Parke Saturday. Friday’s game is at 7:30 p.m., while Saturday’s is 5:30 p.m.
