LINDEN-The North Montgomery boys' soccer team lost 2-1 against Rossville Wednesday. The game was a make-up from Sept. 10.

"It was a disappointing loss, mainly because I thought we played really well," North Montgomery head coach Mike Margeson said. "There were long stretches where I thought we were the better team, but just couldn't build on our lead. With the sectional a week away, I feel good about our performance tonight."

Braiden Slavens scored the only goal for North Montgomery. It came in the first half off of an assist from Corbin Osborne.

Logan Slovacek made 15 saves.

The Chargers (2-10) will close the regular season Saturday at home against Lebanon.
