The North Montgomery girls golf team went out for their
second meet Monday against Seeger and Attica at Harrison Hills.
The Chargers took home the victory with a 216 score, 19
shots better than Attica, and 22 shots better than Seeger.
“They all played really well,” Charger coach Jason Douglas
said. “They went out and they had fun.”
Megan Douglas was the medalist, shooting a 46. Taylor Miller
was the next highest at 53. Both Douglas and Miller had shot their personal best
on 18 holes last week at the Harrison Hills Invite with a 105, tying for third
place.
Stout Groves shot a 58, Chloe Maxwell a 59, Jaycee Walden a
60 and Aryn Groves a 69.
“They always have a good attitude,” Douglas said of his
team. He added that the youth of the team are stepping up.
Their next meet is Thursday at South Putnam. Tee time is 5
p.m.
